Groomals Part 2

I was about to publish my post with our groomals photos but asked Doug to read through it first. Since there were so many photos, he recommended that I split it into two posts so that it wouldn't take so long to load on people's devices. So, here you go. Part 2 of our groomals photos.

The temple steeple of the Bountiful Temple was under construction when we got married. The Angel Moroni had been hit by lightning and had most of his head blown off. Upon further investigation, they found that the steeple was leaking so they tore it down and rebuilt it. Luckily they were able to do all of the repairs and still keep the temple in operation. I know a few people who chose other temples for their weddings at this time because of the construction. Doug assured me that he is a photoshop genius and that he could edit our photos so that no one would ever know there had been scaffolding on the temple. As you can see, that hasn't happened yet. :)

On our wedding day, we had assigned a family member to pick up our flowers from Harmon's in Roy.  I wasn't super clear in my instructions and there was a lot going on, so the flowers ended up at our reception place but the bouquet and boutonniere didn't make it to the temple. No big deal, though. We already had our groomal photos with this smaller bouquet and duplicate boutonniere and I had the bouquet for photos at the reception. People are more important than things. (P.S. If you're planning a wedding or needing flowers for any event in Northern Utah, Harmon's in Roy is THE place. You can't beat their prices and their florist, Wendy, is just fantastic. She does more business than most stand-alone floral shops.)
